Ensembles

On April 2023 Doriano gave birth to the Medhelan Duo together with pianist Matteo Generani. 

They met each other during their studies in Conservatorio "F: VIttadini" in Pavia between 2015 and 2017, where they shared their common passion for counterpoint, harmony and theoretical  subjects. In 2018 they held their first concerts together for Monferrato Classic Festival and FlyingNotes-Malpensa. After those first experiences, they had to separate from each other, due to their academic studies. Matteo went to America, Doriano in Switzerland.

Only in 2023 they reunited and, winning the Grand Prize International Virtuoso Competition - Bruxelles , they started a chamber music project that led them to perform throughout Italy, Austria and Belgium, soon bringing them to America.

Doriano is the 1st Violin of MusiQuartet, an instrumental ensemble born  in the context of Associazione Musicarte to realize a new project. In 2020, actually, this cultural association started  a collaboration with Auriga Teatro company - made by the actors  Veronica del Vecchio, Lorenzo Marchi and Andrea Tettamanti - wanting to build a comic show that could merge  Theatre, Clown  and Music. 

So  they gave birth to  MusicaMaestro - Concerto Tragicomico, in wich the three actors are accompanied by the quartet and they even interact with it. 

This show has received and continues to receive awards and  prizes. It has currently passed its twenty-fifth performance, and it has been performed for prestigious cultural seasons like  Unione Musicale (Turin) and Verdi Off - Teatro Regio di Parma (Parma).
